I'm Aurora Storm, and I'm 22 years old. I live at Tarns Landing in the Home Stone of Schendi with my new companion and family now. I grew up at House of Seven Darks and House of Storm. My companion, Lukas Falconaire, is a rarius and tarnsman, Ruby Chair on the High Council of Schendi and city En'Sword. He's very handsome and strong and talented, and I love him very much. My dad is a big strong highly-skilled rarius who used to be the Ruby Chair on the High Council. He mostly lives in the jungle now. My mom used to be a thief when she was young but then got taught about honor from Uncle Killian and Aunt Sha, companioned Daddy, and got to be a scribe. Only then an ost bit her, and she went to the City of Dust. I miss them both a lot. I have lots of brothers and sisters, and mostly they don't live with us now. But I'm a triplet with Tiberius and Valeria and have a younger brother named Taelon. My uncle is Killian, and he is the Ubar of Schendi. He companioned Pycim, which made me very happy. I love all of them with all my heart.
I'm a scribe now and became Sapphire Chair on the High Council of Schendi. I am also clerk for the RBCS group of scribes.
I have four ships now. Three are just mine, two from Uncle Killian and one from Marius. I share the other one with Tiberius and Valeria and Taelon, cuz that ship used to be Mom's and we were all her kids. For my 16th birthday, I got a plantation from my dad. I called it Mirathi, which means legacy in Ushindi. I picked that because it seemed appropriate and anyway, it's pretty. It's a tea plantation, and I had a house put on the land now and grow tea for a shop I bought called the Schendi Tea Room. I also opened another shop called the Umaridadi Sari Shop just because I love clothes.
I have a treehouse that Daddy made for Angel, another sister. She got bigger and didn't want it any more, so she gave it to me. I love it cuz I can go there when I want to think about stuff. I also know where there's some treasure cuz Grandpa Mach hid it in a cave and showed my mom, who showed me. She didn't need it, and she said it was for her, her brothers, and her sister. I don't know where they are right now, and I think me and my brothers and sister get my mom's share. There are traps, so nobody can get to it unless they know how to get past them. And Grandpa Mach was pretty tricky, so they aren't easy! I only used a little bit of the treasure. It's really pretty to look at though...lots of rubies and gold...
Schendi is the very best place to live cuz we have all the very best stuff there. It's safe and we have lots of Thassa around us and jungles and beaches and ships and all kinds of wonderful people. It smells really good, and we have lots of rain but lots of sun too. There is very very good shopping cuz of all the ships that come. Besides all that, my family is the greatest family anybody could have. All the other people are nice too.
Besides my family, there's Sophia and Logan and their kids, Dane and Dreg, Storm and Erik and Nya and Anna, and Eric and Wolf and now Cahirah and her children. Kassi and Maia have come home, and I hope they stay forever. And I have made some new good friends named Chimene Ryhes and Sakari Justice. Logan and Sophia have now gone to the City of Dust too, and Dane and Dreg and Kassi, along with most of their house, are missing now. I love all of 'em so much I can't even express how much.
I met and fell in love with a really wonderful Rarius who Aunt Storm says is a lot like my dad. I think probably that's why I love him. He's smart and funny and a rogue, in the good way. We now have three beautiful children: twins named Talimoore Storm Falconaire and ShaLaara Storm Falconaire, and another son named Arioch Killian Falconaire. Being a mother is amazing...nobody could have ever explained just how it would feel to have babies of your own. I am awestruck every single day.
I swore to my Home Stone on my 16th birthday. I felt like I waited all my life for that day to become a real citizen of Schendi. I can never wait to start a new day, and I'm always on the lookout for a really good adventure, though my family and friends and Askari guards don't seem to let that happen.
